About The Role

We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join our agile teams, working on systems vital to AO’s success. You’ll help shape features, define testing scope, and champion best practices in a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on delivering the right software.

You’ll work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle, and your focus will be on designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks that cover both UI and API layers, ensuring our solutions are reliable and efficient. You’ll embed quality at every stage, champion best practices, and help drive a culture where testing is seen as a shared responsibility. Along the way, you’ll influence technical decisions, contribute to continuous integration pipelines, and share knowledge to keep our teams at the forefront of modern testing strategies.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

  • Build scalable, maintainable automation solutions from scratch
  • Develop and maintain automated tests across UI and API layers
  • Collaborate in cross-functional agile teams throughout the full development lifecycle
  • Advocate for quality at every stage, embedding it into the development process
  • Drive adoption of automation and modern testing practices
  • Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines
  • Share knowledge and mentor team members

A Few Things About You

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in software testing and automation
  • Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks using tools like Nightwatch, Playwright, or Cypress
  • Skilled in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman
  • Familiar with CI/CD integration using Bitbucket and GitHub Actions
  • Proficient with Git and collaborative workflows
  • Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams
  • Strong communicator with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
