Resource Planning Analyst

About The Role

As a Resource Planning Analyst at AO, you’ll play a key role in making sure our sales team runs like clockwork. You’ll create accurate forecasts for call volumes and sales, plan resources across the team, and optimise shift patterns to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll monitor real-time performance, spotting variances between forecasted and actual figures, and asking the big questions: Why are more customers calling than expected? Is this spike in sales a short-term trend or something bigger? Your insights will help us make quick, smart decisions that keep our customers happy and our teams performing at their best.
This is a role for someone who loves working with data, thrives on problem-solving, and enjoys collaborating with stakeholders across the business. If you’re methodical, organised, and ready to make a real impact, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

• Managing adherence and optimizing team schedules
• Analysing call volumes and actual sales against forecasts
• Tracking and managing holiday requests
• Monitoring real-time performance and data
• Producing reports for management and stakeholders
• Asking the right questions to understand variances and trends

• Methodical and well organised with great attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident managing multiple stakeholders
• A team player who can also work independently
• Comfortable with numbers and data analysis
• Proficient in Excel
