About The Role
Our Night Shift Team Leaders play a vital part in the operation and the customer journey by rolling up our sleeves up to get things done. You will report directly to our Shift Supervisors, Site Managers and Operational Management Team. Our Team Leaders will manage the warehouse team including Warehouse Operatives, Scanners, FLT/Bulk Drivers and VNA Drivers. You will also work closely with our Logistic Coordinators, Training Support team and on-site Trainer.
Our Team Leader will ensure that our day-to-day warehouse operation always runs effectively and that the warehouse achieves its objectives and KPI’s set out by the business. You will provide support to the warehouse making sure that everything runs smoothly, and the company operate with full compliance.

- Salary: £32,420.57 per annum
- Hours: 40.25 per week
- Shift pattern: 4on 4 off rotational shift pattern
- Start/Finish time: 6.00pm-6.00am

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
- Keep track of your team’s performance and identify people for upskilling opportunities
- Be responsible for the site’s cleanliness and maintenance
- Plan the shift for your area and monitor workloads to ensure that all tasks are complete
- Support with HR functions such as disciplinary meetings in a fair and consistent way
- Complete handovers to the days team
- Provide admin support where needed
- Investigate and rectify any discrepancies
- Ensure that all products are handled correctly and in-line with manual handling guidelines
- Monitor the quality of work that our operatives carry out and manage their performance
- Allocate and supervise daily tasks as well as briefing the team
A Few Things About You
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and systems.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams while managing fluctuating workloads.
- Confident decision-making skills with a fair and consistent approach.
- Proficiency in PC use, including WMS and Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting KPIs such as damage and non-picks.
